Vanessa Couzens, Headonist co- owner, and Teresa Martignetti, Artistic Designer completed the grueling Spartan Race and raised well over £100 for the charity. Designed by ultra athletes and marines to test endurance, strength and resilience the Spartan Race is run over a muddy 5K and includes 12 challenging obstacles – from a lake swim to crawling through an ice bath under barbed wire, and scaling a slippery wall.

“ It was a tough challenge for both of us but great fun” says Teresa. “A big thank you to our clients” says Vanessa, “ They kindly bought cakes in the salon to have with their coffee, and made generous donations to help us raise funds for Help for Heroes. We’re now thinking of our next challenge but I think I need to recover first!”
